Job Overview

Systems Administrator – Level 3 – Senior. Addressing a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Customer’s Entitlement Programs and Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.

Hours:

9:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Provide technical guidance and deliver solutions for new and existing cloud-native service architectures.
• Develop and support enterprise software solutions leveraging AWS.
• Apply innovative, secure approaches using best practices and guidance from past experience.
• Perform security patching and maintain server health in an AWS environment.
• Ensure mission‑critical applications remain operational 24/7, supporting an on‑call rotation (approximately one week every two months).
• Support a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) service that delivers attribute data via an LDAP interface to numerous customer systems.
• Produce clear design artifacts, documentation, and instructional guidance for mission teams.
• Communicate effectively across multi‑disciplinary teams; manage time and workflow in an Agile & Scrum context.

• Experience leading to senior‑level (6+ years) in Linux‑based system administration and command‑line proficiency (Bash).
• Comprehensive knowledge of the security accreditation process and privileged access management.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, infrastructure‑as‑code (Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc.), and cloud‑native services.
• Strong experience with Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Rundeck, etc.).
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats) and LDAP technologies.
• Experience in Agile development environments and cross‑functional project collaboration.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a meticulous, detail‑oriented approach.

• At least one AWS associate‑level certification (Architect, Developer, or Sys Ops).
• 3+ years of experience with C2S and cloud formation, Tomcat, NGINX.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Ansible, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Background in Identity and Access Management (IAM, IdAM, ICAM) and authentication/authorization concepts.
