Generator Technician (OCONUS)
Location:
OCONUS; 100% onsite. This position is within K /NSS Intel division and requires an active SECRET clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI w/ Poly.

Role OverviewAs a Generator Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generator systems to ensure critical power solutions remain reliable and ready to support mission success. You will also supervise personnel, monitor maintenance services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate power operations during outages or emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, fuel systems, controls, and generators using prints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Maintain and operate megawatt‑rated high‑amperage and high‑voltage generators.
- Monitor contracted maintenance services and oversee performance.
- Provide guidance and oversight for subordinate personnel.
- Work on‑call, rotational shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Implement and uphold safety protocols during all operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless power operations during outages or emergencies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance generator performance and operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to generator failures and emergencies, providing on‑site support to restore power quickly and efficiently.
- Active SECRET clearance; ability to upgrade to TS/SCI w/ Poly.
- High school diploma, vocational or trade school graduate, or equivalent apprenticeship.
- Eight (8)+ years of professional generator experience, including at least three (3) in a lead or supervisory role.
- Experience troubleshooting engines, fuel systems, controls, and generators using prints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Experience maintaining and operating megawatt‑rated high‑amperage and high‑voltage generators.
- Knowledge of working with and monitoring contracted maintenance services.
- Willingness to work on‑call, rotational shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
