** The Aerospace Corporation is hiring an Enterprise Systems Engineer for the Portfolio Analysis Department (PAD) in the Enterprise Effects Division (EED). This is an onsite opportunity in Chantilly, Virginia.
As part of the Enterprise Design Subdivision (EDS), the Portfolio Analysis Department (PAD) drives responsive and comprehensive trades in customer portfolios. Working closely with corporate program offices PAD delivers portfolio decision insights that expand options for senior leaders and accelerates delivery of end effects. PAD integrates expertise, system analysis and design capabilities from across the corporation. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Systems Engineer to support a variety east coast Intelligence Community customers.
This position will be required to work full-time on-site at Aerospace’s Chantilly, VA location. Requirements for the
** Engineering Specialist – Enterprise Systems Engineering
** experience in systems engineering or other space-related engineering disciplines
Experience with architecture frameworks such as the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects requirements for the
** Senior Engineering Specialist – Enterprise Systems Engineering
** Minimum of 12 years of increasingly responsible experience in systems engineering or other space-related engineering disciplines Leadership experience in enterprise systems engineering, enterprise design and/or model-based systems engineering
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with employees, customers, program offices, and contractors
Demonstrated ability to identify problem space, assess trade options, and independently formulate courses of action
Experience working with space system requirements documents such as CDDs and ICDsExperience initiating and leading cross-functional, cross-organizational teams to plan and execute projects or studies Demonstrated leadership of broad multidisciplinary teams conducting technical evaluations of complex systems; cost, schedule and risk analysis; portfolio-level trade studies; and requirements development
Experience with and/or working knowledge of the Aerospace Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) span of technical capabilities and organizational construct
Experience with Intelligence Community systems engineering and programmatic processes, methods, tools, and personnel Experience briefing senior Government leaders (General Officer and/or SES/SIS)
