The Challenge :
We are seeking an A-E Project Coordinator to join the growing team in our Washington D.C. (Chantilly, VA) office.

General Description:

The Project Coordinator will work with the A-E team leads and Senior Project Coordinator to manage day-to-day ongoing project activities. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with the A-E design team and sub consultants to support the development of construction documentation, validate the scope of project work, package design submittals, track project changes, and ensure on-time delivery of project submittal packages.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in project setup and project document management.
* Assist in developing templates, developing reports, and packaging project submittals.
* Coordinate review meetings, site visits, and meeting logistics, including distributing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and publishing meeting notes.

* Support travel coordination by sharing recommended flights and hotel information; individual travelers are responsible for booking their own arrangements.

* Track and log design review comments, bidder inquiries, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittal documents.

* Coordinate and publish project specifications, including supporting discrepancy resolution in collaboration with the design team prior to compilation.

* Support internal coordination through participation in weekly project and internal meetings.

* Engage with the business development team to update resumes and assist with marketing and proposal documents as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

* College diploma or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar project coordination role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to take clear and accurate meeting minutes.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit required.
* Experience with Specs Intact software preferred.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required.
* Some domestic travel may be required; ability to travel internationally is preferred.
* Experience supporting facilities projects for Federal Government clients is highly desirable. Salary Base:
This full-time position as A-E Project Coordinator, level I has an annual base range of $76,100 $ 88,700. This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. The actual hourly rate is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
