Electrical Designer​/Electrical Engineer - Level II & III

Summary

Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers design, coordinate, document, and deliver electrical building systems for a variety of environments. Depending on experience, responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, preparing and reviewing design documents, coordinating with project teams, managing tasks or projects, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and supporting business development activities. Team members uphold a client‑centric mindset, demonstrate quality and integrity, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous learning environment.

Independently performs intermediate electrical design tasks, prepares design documents, coordinates with internal and external partners, and may mentor less experienced staff.

• Perform intermediate‑level calculations and design with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and modify plans, reports, and technical documents.
• Review shop drawings for compliance.
• Guide junior designers and provide technical support.
• Participate in business development and client coordination.
• Support limited project management and coordination tasks.
• Maintain current knowledge of codes, standards, and design tools.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and design principles.
• FE and PE completion preferred.
• Ability to lead small tasks or portions of projects.
• Completion of FE exam, LEED and/or WELL accreditation.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards required.
