We are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to meaningful, mission-driven work for our customer.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing the core infrastructure of a datacenter environment. This role ensures the stability, performance, and scalability of servers, networks, storage systems, and supporting physical infrastructure. The engineer applies deep technical expertise to maintain reliable operations while planning and documenting future infrastructure growth.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain datacenter infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage platforms, to ensure high availability and performance
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and firewalls to support secure and reliable network connectivity
- Deploy and support enterprise server hardware, including HPE and Dell systems, to meet operational and scalability requirements
- Manage and maintain storage environments, including Network Attached Storage solutions from vendors such as Dell, HPE, and Pure Storage
- Support copper and fiber cabling infrastructure to ensure proper connectivity and organization throughout the datacenter
- Plan and manage power and cooling capacity to optimize resource utilization and support infrastructure growth
- Create and maintain detailed infrastructure diagrams and documentation using tools such as Visio or DrawIO
- Support datacenter planning efforts by documenting rack layouts, physical connections, and network topology
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across hardware, networking, and storage components
- Experience working in datacenter environments with a strong foundation in datacenter operations
- Experience planning and managing power and cooling capacity
- Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting hardware and network infrastructure
- Proven ability to manage complex, enterprise‑scale infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise hardware and networking solutions
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment, HPE and Dell server platforms, and advanced storage technologies
- Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
- Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
