Janus Soft is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the "Silverstone" team, where you will serve as a lead architect and steward of our mission‑critical datacenter environment. This isn't just a maintenance role; it is a high‑stakes position requiring a blend of strategic planning and tactical, hands‑on expertise.

You will be responsible for the pulse of our infrastructure—overseeing the operation, optimization, and reliability of complex server clusters, high‑speed networks, and advanced storage arrays. From configuring Cisco firewalls to managing the thermal dynamics of a high‑density server room, your work ensures that the Intelligence Community’s most vital data remains secure, accessible, and performant. • Clearance:
  Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Datacenter Mastery:
  Extensive experience in high‑availability datacenter operations, including power and cooling capacity management and resource optimization.
• Network & Security:
  Hands‑on experience configuring and managing Cisco switches and firewalls.
• Enterprise Hardware:
  Proven track record with HPE and Dell server environments.
• Storage Solutions:
  Expertise in managing enterprise‑grade storage systems, including Pure Storage, Dell, and HPE Network Attached Storage (NAS).
• Physical Infrastructure:
  Proficiency in copper and fiber cabling standards and hands‑on hardware configuration.

• Architectural Documentation:
  Advanced skills in Visio or DrawIO for creating detailed rack elevations, physical connection maps, and logical network diagrams.
• Thermal Management:
  Ability to estimate power draws and optimize cooling strategies for maximum hardware longevity.
• Strategic Planning:
  Experience in capacity planning to ensure infrastructure remains robust and scalable for future mission requirements.
• Efficiency: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a meticulous eye for detail in documenting infrastructure changes.
