Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices.
- Perform all aspects of CREW systems troubleshooting and repair, including communications‑electronics and EW systems.
- Perform all aspects of Harris and Thales radio systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Perform logistic support requirements such as research, and equipment and spare part inventories.
- Perform operational test and return‑to‑service checks.
- Develop integration plans and perform hardware integrations.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, PMCS, and return‑to‑service of assigned systems and subsystems; replace and repair components associated with systems.
- Calibrate, operate, maintain, modify, test, troubleshoot and repair systems of a highly complex nature.
- Operate and manage a wide range of equipment, including automated benches, real‑time oscilloscopes, pulse generators and power supplies.
- Execute set‑up, collaboration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Work with minimal supervision, document maintenance tasks via local or web‑based reporting system, and provide system functional briefings to customer and supervisor.
- Multi‑task efficiently and work in a fast‑paced environment on multiple projects.
- Contact and coordinate with internal departments for parts as required to ensure optimal equipment operation.
- Will be required to go TDY to multiple locations within SWA.
- Ability to successfully complete CRC (medically/physically) and deploy.
- Security Clearance Level: active U.S. Government SECRET clearance.
- BS and 5 years or equivalent Military/Technical Experience; one‑year related experience may be substituted for one year of education.
- At least two years’ experience in EW or EW‑related activities.
- Minimum of three years Electronics/Communications technical experience.
- Knowledge of RF theory and principles, and the effects of CREW systems operating in an electronic countermeasures environment.
- Experience with RF test equipment.
- Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems, preference for experience with Harris/Thales on trunked radio systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Specific systems may include AN/VLQ‑12 CREW Duke system, vehicle‑mounted Duke V2, Warlock jammers, Duke V3 vehicle‑mounted jammer, AN/PRC‑148 Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR), AN/PRC‑152 Multiband Handheld Radio, N/PRC‑152A Wideband Networking Handheld Radio, AN/PRC‑117G(V)1(C) Multiband Networking Manpack Radio, AN/PRC‑117F Multiband Manpack Radio, A‑3575 75‑watt multiband amplifier, and A‑350 50‑watt multiband amplifier.
