Responsibilities
- Constructing wiring harnesses and other cables requiring soldering from schematics, drawings, and oral instructions.
- Fabricating and constructing mechanical assemblies from drawings and oral instructions.
- Performing electrical or mechanical modifications, rework, and quality testing.
- Performing light machining such as drilling, milling, metal lathe.
- Performing component level environmental testing, such as thermal, vacuum, vibration, capturing power profiles, and performing other testing in lab to screen components for use in flight.
- Supporting assembly and environmental testing of spacecraft.
- Maintaining and using test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, fabrication equipment, 3D printers, laser cutters, machine tools, and related equipment.
- High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education; specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience performing assigned related technical tasks or similar.
- Ability to use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
- Ability to perform soldering to standards required for spacecraft flight hardware.
- Ability to use standard fabrication equipment such as 3D printers and machine tools.
- Ability to use standard electronic and environmental test equipment.

- A U.S. citizen or national
- A lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
- A refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- An asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
