Role Overview This position is for a hands-on Electrical Engineer supporting the development of RF, radar, and light emission systems in an aerospace and defense environment. The role spans the full hardware lifecycle, including design, prototyping, integration, and validation. The work involves a heavy emphasis on PCB design, RF system integration, and lab-based testing.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop circuit boards, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
* Build and support system-level RF and radar hardware.
* Perform hands-on testing and debugging of RF, digital, and analog systems.
* Develop and execute test procedures and validation plans, including Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and automated test scripts.
* Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers (VNA/PNA), signal generators, and digital multimeters (DMMs).
* Translate customer requirements into detailed system, subsystem, and component-level designs.
* Support the integration of hardware with firmware and embedded systems.
* Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
* Troubleshoot complex system-level issues across multiple domains.
* Participate in major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).

Required Qualifications
*
* Education:

** A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
*
* Experience:

** 1-5 years of hands-on hardware engineering experience. Experience must include circuit design and troubleshooting for both analog and digital systems.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Proficiency in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
* Strong lab and testing experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators.
* Experience building and executing test procedures.
* Ability to read system-level diagrams and debug hardware.
* Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently within a small, cross-functional team.
* U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Altium for PCB design.
* Experience with FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog and tools like Vivado or Quartus.
* Direct experience with RF or radar systems.
* Expertise with RF test tools such as spectrum analyzers and RF power meters.
* Knowledge of RF design and analysis tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, AWR, MATLAB, SPICE).
* Familiarity with designing and debugging high-speed interfaces (e.g., 1GE, PCIe, DDRx).
* Experience with hardware and software codesign in Zynq Ultra Scale+ RFSoCs.
