Full time, funded, immediate need About the Role We are hiring Network Engineers at three levels to support a mission-critical government program in Chantilly, VA. These roles design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting critical operations, combining network planning with hands-on technical implementation in a secure environment. You will be matched to the level that fits your experience. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Perform network designs and plan configurations for integration and optimal performance. Conduct operational and maintenance activities and troubleshoot to restore the network to optimal performance. Use network analysis tools to identify and resolve performance problems. Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and network documentation. Coordinate hardware and software acquisition. At the Expert and SME levels, lead design efforts, prepare technical proposals for presentation to engineering review boards, serve as task lead, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Hands-on experience in network design and administration, including routing, switching, and network security technologies.

Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools. Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications Installation and configuration of Cisco Nexus 5000, 7000, or 9000 series switches, Cisco Catalyst switches, and Cisco ASR series routers.

Experience with Cisco Firepower or Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls. Strong knowledge of EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE. Levels and Compensation Senior Network Engineer, 3 to 8 years of experience: $215,000 to $235,000 with benefits, or $235,000 to $255,000 without.
Expert Network Engineer, 10 or more years of experience: $230,000 to $250,000 with benefits, or $250,000 to $270,000 without.
Network Engineer SME, recognized subject matter expert: $245,000 to $265,000 with benefits, or $265,000 to $285,000 without. Benefits Fully employer-paid family healthcare with no employee premium deduction (Anthem POS with HSA employer contributions of $4,800 per year), dental and vision, STD and LTD, up to 15 percent employer 401k contributions including profit sharing, 22 days PTO front loaded in year one, 11 paid federal holidays, and employer-paid training.

Candidates with existing healthcare coverage may elect the higher salary band in place of benefits.
