Municipal Civil Engineer - Chantilly, VA

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Municipal Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with local governments and public agencies on a variety of infrastructure projects that improve transportation networks, utilities, stormwater systems, and community development throughout Northern Virginia.

• Manage and support municipal engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Design and oversee roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, and capital improvement projects.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Assist with capital improvement planning, infrastructure assessments, and project prioritization.
• Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and engineering standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
• 5+ years of municipal engineering, public works, or civil infrastructure experience.
• Knowledge of roadway design, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, and permitting processes.
• Experience working with local governments and public-sector clients.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
