Support the Finance Department by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and government contracting financial operations within a federal contractor environment. - Tech Stack:

- Financial Reporting:
Assist with the comprehensive preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review and decision support. - Project Accounting:
Support project accounting activities, including precise labor and cost tracking, alongside monitoring contract funding, revenue, expense, and profitability. - Compliance & Audits:
Review labor charging and timekeeping data for accuracy and compliance with DCAA requirements, and assist with financial audits and internal compliance reviews. - Financial Operations:
Support critical monthly financial close activities, perform account reconciliations, and assist with invoice preparation and customer billing processes. - Data Management & Improvement:
Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and essential financial documentation, supporting process improvement initiatives, financial data management projects, and Deltek Costpoint reporting.

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field. The role is suitable for students seeking practical experience in federal contracting. - Experience:
Prior coursework in accounting, finance, statistics, or economics is preferred. Familiarity with financial reporting concepts is also beneficial for success in this role. - Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with keen attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to appropriately handle confidential information. - Bonus: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Excel dashboards, or other data visualization tools. An interest in government contracting, telecommunications, defense, or technology industries is a plus, as is the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required for the role.
