Financial Analyst
K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to intelligence and national security communities. This role supports senior leaders and Product Owners on federal contract oversight.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate, consistent, and timely budget status information to stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Provide budget analysis and cost estimation support which includes:
- Developing Independent Government Cost estimates (IGCEs).
- Developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
- Analyzing and assessing estimates to completion.
- Gathering and analyzing actuals.
- Conducting variance analysis.
- Providing budgetary input in support of statutory reporting requirements.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, technical, or business‑related discipline.
- At least 8 years of DoD or IC finance experience.
- Experience planning and building a federal fiscal year budget.
- Experience overseeing execution of approved budgets.
- Experience communicating with senior leaders under tight timelines.
- Ability to work independently and lead detail‑oriented tasks.
- Knowledge of government Internal Control Program purposes and requirements.
- Knowledge of Congressional budget actions, implications, and applications to government programs.
$103,800 – $155,700 (Maryland area only). Range is based on selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
Additional CompensationPotential for bonuses, commissions, sign‑on bonuses, relocation benefits, short‑term or long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance, per internal policy or contract designation.
