Financial Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The Financial Analyst position performs a variety of financial activities including research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with month‑end close process.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $70,000- $75,000
.

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. • Perform detailed reporting and analysis of monthly financial information
• Compare budget and actual costs incurred, expenditures and financial swings from month to month
• Use financial module to reconcile and identify any pool or account setup issues, work with stakeholders to make adjustment in Costpoint to fix the issues
• Support internal and external audits as needed and ensure policies and procedures are met
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives
• Develop and coordinate with all relevant internal and external parties to better utilize custom reporting tools and dashboards
• Work on ad hoc and cross‑functional projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but equivalent years of experience can be substituted
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is preferred
• Strong Costpoint and Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced proficiency in Excel are required
• Experience with federal government contractor accounting is required
