Business Operations​/Financial Management Subject Matter Expert (FM8

Our Business Operations SME will provide expert-level financial management, acquisition reporting, and executive coordination to U.S. Space Force and national security space organizations.

• Direct the tracking and execution of budgets, funding allocations, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
• Utilize CCaR and advanced financial tools to design reporting products and executive business metrics.
• Analyze program financial performance to mitigate complex execution risks or shortfalls.
• Lead PMRs, All Calls, prepare executive briefings, and ensure audit-ready financial compliance.

• Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience supporting DoD financial management, acquisition programs, or budget execution.
• Expert proficiency with CCaR, financial tracking systems, and MS Office Suite.

• Extensive history mitigating execution risks for multi-million dollar space portfolios.

• High-visibility on-site support environment.
• Direct interaction with senior acquisition leaders and program executives.

• Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
