Overview
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior
Counterintelligence (CI)
Inve
stigator to join our team in Chantilly, VA .
- Conducting comprehensive counterintelligence inquiries according to legal status, IC and DoD policies and procedures.
- Identifying, evaluating, performing, and reporting on threats to agency equities using extensive knowledge of agency, IC and DoD policies and directives.
- Safeguarding allcase files andwritingdetailed reports and referrals to appropriate government agencies.
- Providing investigative support for espionage damage assessments.
- Conducting CI assessments and referrals of personnel for IC indicators and for CI incidents as appropriate, to include FBI 811 referrals.
These duties include a comprehensive review of personnel records tovalidateor invalidate assertion of CI indicators; assessing and documenting CI vulnerabilities associated with agency personnel;identifying
CI concerns andpossiblemitigationswithin SEAD-4 National Security Adjudicative Guidelines; and conducing CI case support for federal investigative agencies. - Managing and preparing detailed reports, based on existing investigative documentation, existing electronic databases of foreign intelligence contact information, and other CI inquiries and assessments.
- Routinely briefing and providing investigative leads to theGTMas necessary.
- Ability to travel worldwide.
- Bachelor’sdegreeand
10+years of relevant experience with Intelligence and/or Counterintelligence. - In lieu of a Bachelor’s:
Associates’degree and
15+yearsofrelevant experience with
Intelligence and/or Counterintelligence. - Successful completion of a state or federal/military law enforcement academy or counterintelligence academy/formal training curriculum.
- Bachelor’s degree inforeign area studies, International Relations, security studies, History, Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, Space Systems, or Political Science.
- Knowledge,familiarity, and/or training in adjudicative guidelines outlined in ICD 704.
- Musthave a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchangeaccurateinformation in these situations.
