• Travel to remote areas along the U.S. border to support urgent infrastructure projects.
• Apply deep knowledge of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) processes, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) guidelines, and federal acquisition requirements.
• Understand real estate transactions, land acquisitions, easements, and negotiate rights-of-entry directly with property owners.
• Authorize or recommend immediate payments for property access to avoid delays.
• Serve as a field negotiator and acquisition agent, expediting agreements and approvals on-site.
• Operate effectively under time-sensitive and politically sensitive conditions.
• Leverage prior experience with CBP, DHS, or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to navigate federal processes.
• Manage negotiations involving easements, rights-of-way, and eminent domain procedures. Ensure compliance with federal land laws.
• Communicate with local stakeholders, exhibiting cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain security clearance eligibility and uphold confidentiality in politically sensitive situations.

• Active CBP BI or TOP SECRET
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purpose of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
• 10+ years of experience, with 3-5 years with CBP
• Bachelor’s Degree in related area
• Understanding of geographical and environmental conditions of deployment areas
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing right-of-entry
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Spanish desired but not required
