Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Technician located in Chantilly, VA. The Behavioral Health Technician will assist with implementing behavior intervention plans, monitor and record client behavior, and provide direct support to clients in therapeutic settings. Responsibilities include supporting clients in developing coping strategies/techniques, and collaborating with the clinical team to achieve client goals. The role requires maintaining a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and experience in SUD treatment preferred
- Proficiency in Behavioral Intervention techniques and understanding of Psychology principles
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Relevant certifications or training in behavioral health or CBT/DBT therapy are an advantage
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field is preferred
