-Maryland-Virginia region, is looking for a Transplant Clinical Dietitian I to join our team. Focused on delivering compassionate and specialized nutritional care, the Transplant Clinical Dietitian will play a crucial role in improving the health outcomes of our transplant patients. This position requires expertise in nutrition therapy and patient care management, specifically tailored to the needs of transplant recipients.

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans for transplant patients.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt plans as needed based on patient s conditions and treatment goals.
• Educate patients and their families on proper nutritional care before and after the transplant.
• Collaborate with the transplant team to integrate dietary plans with overall medical care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with Med Star Health s protocols and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in nutritional therapies for transplant patients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in nutritional planning software and patient management systems
