Summary
This part‑time position covers the 3 pm – 11 pm shift on Saturdays and Sundays. The team member is responsible for safely transporting guests to their destinations, providing information and luggage assistance in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The role also anticipates guest needs, exceeds expectations, and implements creative solutions to provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Guest Service:
Safely transport guests to their destinations, provide information and luggage assistance. Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner. Deliver the highest level of service and assist guests by knowledge of hotel property, amenities, local area, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services. Work as a team player to meet guest needs and support other departments as necessary.
Follow the company’s guest service recovery program. - Vehicles:
Fill out all required logs and complete safety checks of the vehicles. Ensure the vehicle has gas, is clean, and presentable by removing trash and performing regular car washes. - Cost Control:
Use and maintain hotel vehicles, equipment, and supplies properly. Adhere to cost‑control measures to reduce expenses and waste and plan to avoid unnecessary trips. - Safety/
Risk Management:
Operate hotel vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic laws. Complete preventive maintenance, DOT, and required safety equipment checks. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations. Follow procedures for guest or associate incidents and know hotel emergency procedures. - Self‑Management:
Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties. Adhere to general work rules and department procedures. Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current and valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
- Appropriate class of driver’s license based on hotel vehicle requirements, and minimum age of 18 years for insurance purposes.
- Prior hotel and/or related guest service experience preferred. Attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to perform job duties in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly during the shift.
