Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Manager, HR Generalist / Talent Management, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
This position provides strategic direction and input to business leaders regarding overall Human Resource strategies that support the culture, company direction, and the growth needs of the business and employees. Serves as subject matter expert on human resource related issues and provides guidance to employees. Manages company recruitment, compliance, benefits, and employee relations activities to maximize employee resources.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance of all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies, investigations, training, and actions
Stay current with and have a thorough understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations. These include;
Title VII, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, NLRA, etc.
Protect the company's interests by ensuring all legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met.
Provide support to President and Vice President with employee relations issues, interpretation of company policy and employment laws.
Counsel, orientate, and train managers and supervisors on the interpretation of Human Resources policies. Administer Human Resources policies and procedures as they pertain to all employees.
Oversee, handle, and manage employee relation issues. Assist with employee coaching, counseling and discipline.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to maintain efficient and effective services.
Maintain all personnel records.
Manage and oversee Workers Compensation, Auto, and General Liability insurance claims.
Develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures addressing benefits program administration, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and communication.
Oversee and manager open enrollment
Manage lifecycle of employee Benifits Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance
Manage ACM’s recruiting, employee retention, hiring, and termination efforts.
Conduct background checks and manage airport and federal badging process.
RequirementsBachelor or Associate’s degree in Human Resources and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, or other related industry, required
High degree of detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
High standards of accountability and integrity, maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion
Excellent interpersonal communication, professional presentation, and persuasion skills to confidently engage and influence at senior levels; engage with all organizational levels
Approachable, proactive, positive, and professional
Professional communication skills, advanced business writing, editing and proofreading skills
Strong ability to prioritize responsibilities for self and others
Proactive follow-up practices and capable of managing competing projects, events, and tasks with demanding time frames
Excellent critical thinking skills, use sound judgment to assess conflicts and solve problems
Excellent computer and database skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and collaboration tools
