AI / ML Solutions Engineer

Chantilly, VA

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• While certifications are not a strict requirement, relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified:
  Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer may be considered as evidence of competency.

• Minimum of five (5) years of software development experience, with at least three (3) years focusing on cloud-based AI/ML applications.
• Strong proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages, particularly Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and Type Script. Extensive experience in containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes-based application development.
• Proven track record in cloud-based software development, especially with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3). Demonstrated experience with OAuth and OIDC protocols and modern single sign-on implementations.
• Solid understanding of AI workflows, AI as a service endpoint, and AI model self-hosting. Experience in developing user interfaces for AI applications, particularly chat interfaces.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and GenAI technologies is essential.
• Experience with vector databases and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems is highly desirable. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment. Government or financial services industry experience preferred.
