ServiceNow Developer

Overview

VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Service Now Developer (mid to senior level) to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

What will you do?

* Review code work for accuracy and functionality

* Develop Service Now tables, record producers, and workflows

* Design and develop Service Portal widgets

* Support data migration efforts using data sources, transform maps, and SQL

* Integration support using REST, SOAP, and/or Service Now APIs

* Create and implement design plans

* Analyze code segments regularly

* Keep up to date with industry trends and technology developments

* Flag risks as they arise and brief Senior Leadership with a mitigation strategy for addressing in the needed timeframe

* Facilitate code migrations and releases

* Own and be accountable for flagging stories/features to Tech Lead and Managers

* Unit test stories

* Provide transparent and frequent communication

Do you have what it takes?

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or additional years of specialized experience in a scientific or technical discipline.

* 2+ years experience developing forms, workflows, business logic, UI policies, and APIs in Service Now

* 2+ years experience using JavaScript and scripting in Service Now

* Ability to work on a larger team and under a technical team lead to meet high priority roadmap milestones

* Ability to work closely with a team of functional requirements analysts to clarify requirements, unit test, and demo work

Preferred:

* Experience with data migration, creating transform maps, and SQL
