Junior DevOps Engineer; AWS, Docker

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance is mandatory
• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, or 3 years with a related Masters degree
• Proficiency with AWS, C2S, or virtualized infrastructure
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with scripting in a Linux environment, particularly Shell and Bash
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Knowledge of at least one programming language:
  JavaScript (preferably front-end frameworks), Java, Python, or NodeJS
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Participate actively in a scrum team responsible for developing and maintaining production software
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and remote team members
• Utilize the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile methodologies in daily operations
• Contribute to the design and integration of cloud-based services
• Develop and manage automation processes with tools like Ansible
• Integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products with custom coding solutions
• Provide consistent software updates and enhancements to existing systems
