Responsibilities
Noblis ESI is seeking a Graphics Designer to support our government customer in Chantilly, VA.
Job Responsibilities- Design and develop user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
- Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and other design elements to support various projects.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with project requirements and user needs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and functionality.
- Ensure designs are consistent with branding guidelines and industry best practices.
- Stay current with trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design and graphic design.
- Provide feedback and guidance to other team members on design-related matters.
- Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides and design specifications.
- Assist with other design-related tasks and special projects as needed.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Computer Science, or a related field with 3 or more years of experience OR Master’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
- Experience as a UX/UI designer or graphic designer, preferably in a technical or defense-related environment.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work closely with developers.
- Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Experience in designing for government or defense-related projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
