Position

Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Network Engineer

Location:

Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation:

Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.

You will work with a cutting-edge team focused on the design, engineering, and implementation of client networks. In this role, you are the creative architect and engineer that will enable activities focused on a wide range of client priorities. You will apply your technical expertise using specialized methodologies and digital tools to plan, initiate, support, secure, and execute digital network models to support our customer's mission.

You will have the opportunity to work on highly visible projects, and will be a critical component in breaking down complex problems and delivering solutions. You will be able to travel for the customer approximately 10% of the year, both CONUS and OCONUS.

Qualifications
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience as a network engineer.
  • Experience using industry standards and open source technologies from a layered security perspective.
  • Experience using Cisco routers to include 2900, 3800, and 2900 families of routers.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, configuring, and implementing complex network architectures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IPv
    6.
  • Experience working hands-on with configurations requiring OSPF interconnectivity to core, VRF segregation, switching with MACSEC, firewalls using IPSec.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues to resolve latency issues, and security concerns.
  • Experience designing, engineering, and implementing secure network protocols at layers 1 - 3 of the OSI model; to include cryptography, site to site VPNs, any connect, L2TP, VLANs, and authentication.
  • Experience implementing security standards in anticipation of fast paced changes of operational practices.
  • Working knowledge of Linux (IPTables, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP) with specific implementation experience regarding redirection of network traffic.
  • Understanding of network logging and monitoring tools, comfortability monitoring netflow with Wireshark.
  • Understanding of end-to-end data flow and applications to include workstations and computers.
  • DESIRED: ACI Experience
