- Maintain a centralized calendar and workflow for tracking renewal dates, contract terms, and key vendor obligations
License Management & Optimization
- Develop and maintain processes for tracking software licenses, entitlements, usage, and compliance across the organization
- Partner with business SMEs to validate software needs, license counts, and usage patterns.
- Identify opportunities to optimize spend through consolidation, right‑sizing, reharvesting, or alternative licensing models
- Ensure accurate documentation of entitlements, agreements, and deployment data
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Establish and enforce software asset management (SAM) policies, standards, and best practices.
- Monitor compliance with licensing agreements and prepare for internal or external audits
- Mitigate risks related to unauthorized software, over‑deployment, or non‑compliant usage
- Serve as the primary point of contact for software vendors, resellers, and internal procurement teams
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Finance, and business units to align software decisions with organizational strategy and budget
- Support contract negotiations by providing data‑driven insights on usage, entitlements, and future needs
- Produce regular reports on software inventory, spend, compliance status, and optimization opportunities
- Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and cost control
Required Qualifications:
