Location: Chantilly, VA (Full-time telework permitted)
ResponsibilitiesProvide implementation and experience during all cloud adoption activities. At the direction of lead architects, develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy Google Cloud Platform (GCP) applications. Evaluate and implement orchestration, automation, and tooling solutions to ensure consistent processes and repetitive tasks are performed with the highest level of accuracy and reduced defects. Set up and maintain monitoring, metrics, and reporting systems for fine-grained observability and actionable alerting.
Collaborate on a cloud governance model and maintain it. This includes configuration, IAM, and cost management. Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures. Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary.
Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale projects in the cloud. Requires experience working with AWS; GCP;
Ansible;
Docker, Kubernetes and Traefik, helm;
MySQL;
Jenkins (CI/CD) and Gitlab;
Git Hub;
Terraform and Packer;
Nginx;
Bash and Python;
Linux;
Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Pagerduty, and Victor Ops; cloud networking services, including Virtual Networks, firewall rules, VPN configurations, load balancers, and network routing; and cloud security monitoring and logging (e.g., Cloud Trail, Cloud Logging).
SALARY: $211,000 to $315,000 / year
