Sr. PeopleSoft Developer

Kavaliro's client is seeking a Sr. People Soft Developer for an onsite position in Chantilly, VA
Responsibilities

• Work with Requirements Analysts to understand user stories and deliver features/capabilities each sprint.
• Drive technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the People Soft implementation lifecycle.
• Provide hands-on technical solutions to business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions.
• Provide technical development, utilizing People Tools, and system design skills.
• Analyze the impacts of vendor-provided updates and upgrades to the system.
• Work with Product Owner and Requirements Analyst to suggest novel approaches to minimize customizations of the product.
• Provide production support by analyzing, designing, programming, and testing solutions to complex production problems.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases.
• Correct data in critical situations.

Required Qualifications

• Current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer-related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information systems implementation, change management efforts, or application process redesign.
• Minimum of six (6) years of technical development experience with People Soft™ HRMS ERP, including recent experience with People Soft™ 9.x.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in developing, prototyping, and testing solutions for information systems implementation.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with ORACLE and SQL commands.
• Technical development experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology.
• Technical development experience implementing People Soft™.
• Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience applying broad management skills and specialized functional/technical expertise to lead information systems projects.
• Experience providing subject matter expertise in industry, process, or technology areas.
• Experience with design and process documentation.
• Experience with unit testing IT applications.
• Customer domain experience.
• Certified People Soft™ training in:
  People Tools I & II, People Code, Workflow, Integration Broker, App Engine, Component Interface, People Soft™ HRMS, People Soft™ Portal, People Soft™ Enterprise Learning Management, People Soft™ Supply Chain Management.
