Parsons is looking for a Technical Analyst Manager with Digital Network Analysis experience to join our mission-oriented and growing team! - Lead and manage a small team of analysts on a critical program
- Assist with training, mentoring, and professional development of junior analysts
- Analyze packet data and binary data to extract valuable information
- Work with large datasets to pinpoint relevant items of interest and provide timely feedback to stakeholders to ensure mission success
- Interact daily with customers, developers, and other project stakeholders
- Reverse Engineering and/or Protocol Reverse Engineering
- Daily development and maintenance of customer programs/scripts in a Linux command-line environment
- US Citizenship and Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
- BS degree in Computer Science/Information Sciences or related discipline; will consider experience in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of professional experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 4+ years of experience working with Wireshark or other network analysis tools
- Strong, foundational and applied knowledge of the following:
- Packet Structures
- Internet Protocol Suite/OSI Model
- Layer 2 Routing and/or Tunneling Protocols
- Layer 7 Protocols
- VoIPs
- 2+ years of experience with developing and modifying tooling in a Bash environment
- Knowledge of various network configurations and architectures
- Familiarity with other communications technologies
- Adept at using regular expressions and other data manipulation/parsing techniques
- Ability to communicate well with customers, developers, and other mission partners
- Network-focused certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc)
- Inquisitive and investigative mindset
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
