IT Support, Systems Engineer

you will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
Key Responsibilities- Move and install large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside of the regional work area as required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in an environment that operates 24/7, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
- Work in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management.
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+) preferred.
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience managing medium to large, complex project scopes with ambiguous details.
- Knowledge of major command‑line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize work, and react quickly.

Base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
