We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to support our client's program. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a secure, mission-driven environment and enjoys building scalable, automated, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
You must currently hold a TS/SCI w Full Scope Polygraph clearance. The role is on-site in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes within a secure environment.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and testing of containerized applications.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, security specialists, and system administrators to streamline Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Manage infrastructure configuration, version control, and environment consistency across development and production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure performance and deployment issues.
- Document processes, configurations, and operational runbooks for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestra
- Proficiency with CI/CD concepts, version control systems, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Experience with Git Hub Actions or similar CI/CD tools (Git Lab CI, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with DoD security standards such as STIGs, RMF, or FedRAMP.
- Knowledge of cloud service providers (AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Government, etc.).
- Understanding of container security and Dev Sec Ops best practices.
