Position: Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Data Policy experiences to join our Fort Independence Team here e you will leverage your System Engineering background to help data stewardship and data policy governance practices.

The right candidate for this Systems Engineering role will have a passion for in data science, but grasp policy stewardship and governance-helping driving efficiencies with the 'what', why and 'where' with certified data repository {CDR} processes, supporting healthy attribute-level governance, and data management practices providing technical guidance on the responsible use of data and policies across the IC community. What will you do?

* Translate governance policies into operational processes and technical solutions, providing clear guidance to stewards and stakeholders.

* Collaborate with Data Stewards, Steward Representatives and broader IC community to analyze and optimize data attributes, metadata, and repository certifications.

* Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to monitor compliance, data quality, and stewardship outcomes.

* Apply machine learning and AI techniques where appropriate to automate governance workflows {e.g., anomaly detection, classification, policy adherence}.

* Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track governance performance and compliance.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure certified data assets meet accuracy, consistency, and accessibility standards.

* Recommend process improvements and technical solutions that enhance efficiency within governance and data stewardship. Do you have what it takes?
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
* BS degree in STEM, or related field.

• Knowledge with Identity and Access Management {ldAM} / Identity Credentials & Access Management (ICAM) delivery systems, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes Architectures
• Familiarity with data governance principles, compliance, or metadata management.
• Strong critical thinking ability-able to balance technical solutions with policy and compliance needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical insights to policy and Sponsor stakeholders.
