Were looking for a Sr. Linux-focused Systems Engineer to join a mission-driven federal program supporting a highly secure environment. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys keeping systems stable, secure, and well‑automated—and who genuinely cares about doing things the right way.

Own and support Linux systems in a secure, operational environment

Apply and maintain STIGs and RMF controls with a strong security mindset

• Build, improve, and maintain Ansible automation:

  • Use Ansible daily to support operations and maintenance

  • Review and improve playbooks, including work written by others

  • Automate repeatable tasks to improve reliability and consistency

• Perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities to keep systems healthy
• Support Oracle Web Logic and database environments in partnership with DBA and web teams
• Work with AWS-hosted systems (primarily EC2-based workloads)

Were flexible on titles and years of experience and are open to mid-level through senior candidates. This is not an entry-level role, but we care more about aptitude, curiosity, and ownership than a specific number of years.

Experience with Oracle Web Logic or Oracle databases

Familiarity with AWS, especially EC2

Prior exposure to large federal or IC environments
