* Key Responsibilities:

** The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Chantilly, VA with anticipated travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of the SWAC’s priorities. The applicant will work closely with the SWAC program offices, Department of the Air Force Headquarters, and the Joint Staff to model joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies at multiple classification levels.

The qualified candidate will support SWAC Force Design Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts to include: capturing joint operational scenarios, missions, and interdependencies in SysML/UAF; translating operational analytic models and outputs into dynamic SysML models; creating UAF representations of space relevant mission threads and mission engineering threads; understanding and integrating SysML/UAF models both from within SWAC program offices and from analytic partners across the services;

supporting maintenance and standardization of models in a SWAC Digital Engineering Library. The qualified candidate will be comfortable understanding strategic goals and defining tasks/scope aligned to strategic goals. The qualified candidate will be the MBSE expert during engagements with DAF, Joint Staff, and other DoD organizations. The candidate will translate complex technical information into products that communicate effectively to non-subject matter experts and will prepare correspondence and other documentation (formal letters, position papers, reports).

* Must have an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance and be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
* Ability to effectively work both independently and with a cross-country, multi-disciplinary team
* STEM MS Degree is required and/or BA in STEM with 20 + Years relevant experience
* 10+ years MBSE in SysML/UAF experience
* 5+ years space domain experience
* Experience with the United States Space Force (USSF) missions
* Ability to read and understand software code in order to identify and pull out relevant information according to modeling needs
* Ability to understand complex technical issues and produce recommendations for a wide audience
* Ability to apply critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments
* Ability to quickly create decision quality materials for senior leaders
* Demonstrates strong communication skills (technical writing, developing presentations, etc.)

* Experience with DoD, IC, and Commercial Satellite systems in SCI/SAP environment
