- Description Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. Leidos is looking for a Scrum Master to join a high performing agile team in support of a nationally significant and fast-paced program. Primary Responsibilities
* Facilitating self-organizing teams to ensure each team is making progress against sprint commitments
* Protects teams from scope creep during execution of the sprint
* Removes impediments for the team
* Helps members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate
* Supports and enforces Scrum process and other rules
* Ensures that the team has a clear understanding of Definition of Done and how to meet it
* Coordinates with other teams on the contract and communicates status to Management
* Works with the Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features
* Leads and facilitates Agile ceremonies to include sprint planning, sprint review, demos, and sprint retrospective
* Works with teams to develop user stories to meet the Feature acceptance criteria and requirements
* Works with the team to help gather and refine requirements
* Maintains and generates information radiators for the teams
* Collects and shares team metrics with the team, determines when new metrics are needed, and develops improvements in metrics
* Works with the team to develop and adhere to best agile practices
* Works with the team to develop collaborative tools and dashboards to help monitor metrics
* Supports the team during UAT and Integration testing as needed prior to deployments
* Works with the team in planning and ensuring the release process is properly planned and executed
* Coaches’ teams on agile and scrum principles with a goal of continuous improvement
* Creates a fun sharing and learning environment, experimenting with various ideas to improve delivery including pair-programming and cross-functional training
Required Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
* Requires a Master's degree and 15+ years of prior relevant. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
* Experience in working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a software development or similar technical team
* Experience using agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, Version One)
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and time management Desired Qualifications
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP) FIP If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
