• Manage the full lifecycle of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, including deployment, configuration, patching, and maintenance on virtual platforms (VMware).
• Use Red Hat Satellite for large‑scale system management, including configuring and managing software repositories, content views, and life‑cycle environments, and orchestrating patch management and security updates across the enterprise infrastructure to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement automation for routine administrative tasks and infrastructure deployment using Ansible and Bash/Python scripting.
• Conduct advanced system monitoring, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis to ensure optimal system health, stability, and performance.
• Create and maintain detailed system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles for use by other team members and junior administrators.

• Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
• Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master’s and 4 years, bachelor’s and 6 years, associates and 8 years, or HS diploma and 10 years.
• Must be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
• 3-6 years of experience of hands‑on Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating within a team and with stakeholders.

• Practical experience applying DISA STIGs and DoD security checklists for system hardening in a production environment.
• Ability to automate STIG compliance tasks and configuration management using scripting (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or other advanced Red Hat Specialist certifications.

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $
