Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity
Leidos is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to support the team. In this role you will apply technical knowledge as part of integrating multiple client projects with our Enterprise Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) services. You will get the opportunity to learn new concepts and technologies and brief status and capabilities to technical and non‑technical audiences while supporting them throughout the integration.
Responsibilities- Perform Linux server administration
- Navigate Linux or Windows operating systems using command line interface
- Perform software testing or validation procedures, improving the procedures as needed
- Perform system integration and experience integrating services from different systems
- Debug software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes
- Implement, evolve, and support authentication, Single Sign On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), federation, and cloud infrastructure
- Deploy and operate secure authentication, access management, and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies
- Implement methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization’s enterprise IT architecture
- Perform AuthN, AuthZ, Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM), and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA)
- Leverage project management skills to manage a client’s integration with our services
- Navigate Linux or Windows operating systems using command line interface
- Perform software testing or validation procedures, improving the procedures as needed
- Demonstrated ability to document processes/procedures
- Ability to debug software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience working with external vendors
- Active TS required to start; SCI/Poly eligible
- SEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of start
- Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience with 8+ years of relevant experience; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- SCI/Poly
- System administration skills in support of RHEL, SE Linux, Solaris, Windows, Apache, IIS
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Scrum, and Agile processes
- Knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including OAM, OID, OVD, OHS
- Knowledge of authentication standards using OAuth, SAML, or PKI
Requires an active Top Secret security clearance upon hire and must meet SCI eligibility. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within the customer’s timeline after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
