Junior Data & Insights Specialist (National Capital Region or remote)
Roles and Responsibilities- Provide entry‑level support for analytics delivery, including analysis, requirement support, documentation support, and program/project management.
- Assist with capturing requirements, organizing traceability, and maintaining artifact inventories.
- Support creation and upkeep of documentation such as meeting notes, decision/action logs, and knowledge base entries; assist with data validation and preparation of materials for stakeholder review.
- Contribute to delivery documentation and support user validation and test execution.
- Assist in delivering accurate, insightful, and actionable data analyses and recommendations.
- Ensure high standards of data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Actively detect and address data‑related challenges, bottlenecks, or performance issues to maintain efficient data analysis projects.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau to communicate key metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.
- Produce both ad‑hoc and recurring reports, analyses, and presentations to support business operations and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field plus two years of professional IT experience.
- Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
- Experience creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau or a similar data‑visualization tool.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical information for stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
