Cloud Solutions Architect

GRVTY is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. This role supports the customer that delivers human capital management technologies and services to the workforce, including data analytics that enable business decisions.

Provide expertise in cloud solutions architecture, system upgrades, risk mitigation, operations & maintenance, integration of emerging technologies (AI, AR, VR, mobile devices, data analytics) into system architecture, and delivery of secure internet‑based systems.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Demonstrated professional experience developing and implementing system upgrades.
• Experience identifying technical risks and mitigating them.
• Operations & Maintenance, Tier 1-3 Support experience.
• Experience integrating new learning approaches including AI, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), mobile devices and data analytics/analysis into systems architecture.
• Experience developing secure, misattributable internet‑based systems designed to mitigate user‑tracking concerns.
• Design, implement, and maintain multi‑tier PKI hierarchy to support encryption and authentication via Root and Subordinate CAs.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53, and Cloud Formation.
• Cloud security implementation of IAM roles, security groups, and encryption (KMS) for data at rest and in transit.
• Managing cloud‑based storage tools (S3 buckets, EBS volumes).
• System administration in Windows & Linux/CentOS Server, Apple macOS and iOS environments.
• Database administration and scalability (AWS RDS, MySQL, Aurora).
• Monitoring and alert systems (Datadog, Cloud Watch).
• Basic proficiency with Ruby on Rails, Bash, and Python.
• Creating and updating procedures, and providing briefings/demos to users and management.

• Experience working in a Dev Sec Ops  environment.
• Experience with Apple macOS and iOS environments.
• Experience moving systems through the accreditation and authorization (A&A) process and monitoring for compliance.
• Experience with Splunk tools and features for capturing logs in a hybrid on‑prem/cloud environment.
• Experience coding, O&M, configuring Extron devices.
