Position Summary

RSekure is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Architecture & Engineering team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services, solution architecture, and full-stack development. This role requires hands-on experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud systems, as well as proficiency in modern development tools and methodologies. This position will play a critical role in shaping cloud strategy, mentoring teams, and delivering innovative solutions aligned with mission-critical objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo

    DB)
  • Lead solution design efforts, ensuring alignment with best practices in cloud architecture and security.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Write and maintain code in such as Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or Go.
  • Design and maintain relational and No

    SQL databases.
  • Build responsive front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Collaborate in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate and manage APIs for seamless communication between distributed systems.
  • Contribute to automated testing strategies, including script development, test collection maintenance, and performance/stress testing.
  • Enter the actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Monitor RSekure email on a regular basis, at least 2 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Critical Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Strong programming skills in multiple languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Dev Ops practices.
  • Proficiency in database design and management.
  • Front-end development experience with modern frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of API integration and software testing tools.
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software development, or Dev Ops engineering.
Desired Certifications and Licenses
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified Developer
  • AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
  • AWS Certified Data Engineer
Special Requirements
  • TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope polygraph.
Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
