Responsibilities
  • Provide project management expertise for information technology transport and cybersecurity projects from inception to completion.
  • Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives.
  • Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
  • Develop project plans, identifying resources (i.e., personnel and materials), schedules, and other relevant information required to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of other team members.
  • Identify, review, and manage risk and risk mitigation activities of the project.
  • Coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of task and contract deliverables, briefings/presentations, and project reviews.
  • Conduct internal and external meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, vendors and other service providers to facilitate the delivery of IT services.
  • Coordinate with engineers to validate Bill of Materials (BOM), document the engineering design/solution, configurations, review, approval, and implementation required to satisfy project requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement for ordering BOM.
  • Coordinate with logistics for receiving materials for project implementation and shipping to end site/location.
  • Coordinate with security engineers to ensure all required Assessment and Authorization (A&A) steps are completed in accordance with ICD 503.
  • Provide guidance to project teams to ensure successful implementation and completion of project requirements.
  • Understand and apply more advanced concepts and processes to daily activities.
  • Require minimal guidance and direction from senior level technicians, specialists, and managers.
  • Work individually and actively participate on integrated teams.
  • Provide input to Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Award Term briefings and ad hoc reports, as required.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous process improvements.
  • Understand the customer’s mission and requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science) or Management.
  • 8+ years’ experience working in Project Management for DoD / IC Programs.
  • PMP Certification (Active).
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts.
  • Develop the overall project plan and manage project implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer management and interface experience.
  • Ability to lead, delegate responsibility, tasks, and authority.
  • Experience managing/leading matrix teams working in multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge and experience with National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency (NGA) processes and procedures.
Pay Range

$82,100–$172,400
