Dev Ops Engineer (TS/SCI CI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) expertise to support the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission-critical systems. The selected engineer will play a central role in deploying microservices through a Dev Sec Ops pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment, leveraging AWS cloud services, Git Lab CI/CD, and containerized workloads to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient capabilities to the customer.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. Citizen
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent), or ability to attain certification within 60 days of start
- 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Strong experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Git Lab
- Hands‑on experience with Git Lab functionality, error codes, and scripting
- Experience using AWS services (Cloud Formation, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)
- Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and Dev Sec Ops methodologies
- Experience with Docker container deployment and troubleshooting at scale
- Good communication skills and proactive self‑starter attitude
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and software sustainment practices
Preferred skills:
- Git Lab CI/CD in production settings
- AWS Lambda and ECS expertise
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial technologies
Responsibilities:
- Support the deployment of microservices through a Dev Sec Ops pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment
- Design, implement, and secure virtual networks in AWS, including VPC architecture and connectivity
- Diagnose and resolve VPC network connectivity issues across dev and prod environments
- Develop, update, maintain Git Lab CI/CD pipeline code to enable rapid, reliable delivery
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers for microservice workloads
- Review code within Git and produce engineering documentation as needed
- Support developer deployments and testing activities within the environment
- Provide technical guidance to development teams across all capabilities and microservices
- Create and maintain clear Dev Ops documentation
- Conduct security remediation in response to vulnerability scans and audit findings
- Perform other related tasks as needed to support program success
