UI​/UX Designer - Senior at Noblis Chantilly, Fairfax County, VA

Responsibilities

• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for complex data analysis and visualization tools.
• Work with development teams to build mock‑ups of intuitive interfaces.
• Ensure consistent look and feel across case management development teams.
• Review user experience feedback and implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain style guides and design systems.
• Implement responsive designs based on current best practices.
• Ensure 508 compliance for all user interfaces.
• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between UI and data services.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups.
• Develop user flows and journey maps to optimize the user experience.

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree or master's degree with 8 years of experience, or Associate degree with 11 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 14 years of experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Experience with SAFe Agile Framework and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of forensic and investigative application requirements.
• Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise applications.
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills.
• Expert‑level proficiency with advanced UI/UX design principles and methodologies, design systems creation and management, user testing and research techniques, information architecture, interaction design, visual design principles, accessibility standards and implementation, and design thinking facilitation.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Experience with Angular, React, or other modern front‑end frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript/Type Script.
• Experience in data visualization design.
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Experience working in classified environments.
• Experience with complex application workflows and enterprise application design.
