Responsibilities
- Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
- Implement automation for cloud resources using Dev Sec Ops best practices
- Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
- Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
- Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on‑premises applications to the cloud
- Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
- Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
- Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
- Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Support the multi‑enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration
This is a hybrid role with about 3 days at the customer site in Chantilly VA.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or master's degree with 8 years of experience OR Associate degree with 11 years of experience OR High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience with SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
- Proficiency with AWS Gov Cloud, SC2S, C2S cloud platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud security implementation
- CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
- Monitoring and logging solutions
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with Python, .NET C#, or other development languages
- Dev Sec Ops practices and tools
- Microservices architecture
- API Gateway implementation
- Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
- SAFe Agile methodologies
- Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources
- Hybrid cloud and on‑premises integration
- Serverless computing (Lambda, S3)
- Database services (RDS, Dynamo
DB) - Cloud networking and VPC configuration
- Security accreditation processes
- AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform proficiency
