OpenShift Platform Engineer TS​/SCI Polygraph

  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Experience
  : 7+ years related
• Required Skills
  :
  • Red Hat Open Shift and Kubernetes Essentials – Pods, deployments, services, replica sets, configmaps/secrets, name spaces, ingress, YAML manifest authoring, and kubectl commands.
  • Storage & Networking – Persistent volumes (PV/PVC, CSI Drivers), service discovery, OVN‑Kubernetes for pod communication.
  • Open Shift Command Line Interface – All commands (login, project creations, app deployment, expose, logs/debug, admin tasks, RBAC).
  • Application Development – Microservices in Java/Node.js/Python/Go, REST APIs, YAML for K8s resources.
  • Programming Web and Client/Server Applications – Java, Type Script/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Spring Boot – Upgrading, Hibernate/JPA, build automation (Gradle, Maven, Jenkins).
  • Frontend frameworks – Vue, React or Angular.
  • FS Maximo – Security clearance level TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Maximo Application Suite (MAS) – Cluster Administration, Container/Pod Management, Operator Lifecycle.
  • Scripting and Automation – Bash or Ansible for Day‑2 operations.
  • Security – Managing roles (RBAC), secrets, security context constraints (SCCs).
  • Linux/Windows – Shell scripting.
  • Web Sphere or Tomcat, Container security tools like Podman for rootless containers.
  • Agile development environment, Jira, Confluence, Version Control & Collaboration (Git).
• Desired Certifications
  :
  • Red Hat certified Cloud-native Java Developer (EX378) or earlier EX283
  • Red Hat certified Open Shift Administrator (EX280)
  • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHSCA) for Linux
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CAK) or Application Developer (CKAD)
