Job DescriptionSupports the establishment and maintenance of the customer’s IT asset and configuration management program. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in IT asset, configuration, change, release, and deployment management, and possess strong interpersonal, business management, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities- Maintaining a comprehensive, effective CM program.
- Support IT Governance.
- Establish and maintain an IT asset management program.
- Track assets and configuration items through the full lifecycle; provide detailed analysis to inform customer during lifecycle planning.
- Collect configuration data.
- Develop CMDB policy, processes, and knowledge base.
- Support the maintenance of the configuration management database (CMDB) and auditing to ensure accuracy of configuration data and proper reporting and status accounting.
- Work with the configuration management team to improve CI data integrity regarding classes, naming conventions, attributes, data sources, and relationships.
- Assist in developing standard IT configuration management methodology and establish a mature process for change management/enablement.
- Monitor standards compliance, as well as change and release implementation.
- Ensure the establishment of detailed records that provide current state of CIs, historical changes, and checks/balances that are fully auditable.
- Conduct Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meetings or other established mechanisms to manage change control.
- Utilize NIST SP 800‑128, NIST CM Controls, DoW CIO ZTA directives, and other relevant frameworks to track and enumerate CIs with respect to security risk.
- Work with cross‑functional teams and multiple product owners.
- Validate the soundness and accuracy of configuration management audits and reconciliation.
- Work with other ITSM processes to inform configuration management activities based on new requirements, ensuring alignment to NIST and ZTA frameworks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1–5 years of intensive and progressive specialized experience.
- Germany TESA requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience; or no degree and 11 years of relevant experience. (Minimum experience will be the greater of position and TESA requirements.)
- Data Analysis & Visualization with Power BI.
- App Development Using Power Apps.
- Automating Workflows with Power Automate.
- Data Integration with Common Data Service (Dataverse).
- Customizing solutions for business needs.
- ITIL 4 Foundations (or ITIL Version 5 Foundations).
- ITIL Practitioner: IT Asset Management.
- ITIL Practitioner:

Minimum EducationA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field closely related to the work to be automated, with 5 years of relevant experience, or an alternative degree or discipline with equivalent experience.
Additional RequirementsCandidate must meet Germany TESA requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of recent specialized experience; or Associate’s degree and seven years of recent specialized experience; or no degree and eleven years of recent specialized experience.
