* * The Opportunity CACI is seeking an experienced People Soft Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our People Soft environment. This role is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, security, and ensuring the reliability and availability of People Soft applications across the organization. Responsibilities
* Administer and support People Soft environments (development, test, and production)
* Install, configure, and maintain People Soft application components using Oracle People Soft and Oracle Web Logic Server
* Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance packs
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (batch processes, integration broker, application server domains)
* Manage People Soft security (user roles, permissions, and access controls)
* Support People Soft Process Scheduler and batch processing
* Work with DBAs to optimize database performance (commonly Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server)
* Administer integrations with third-party systems (APIs, web services, file-based integrations)
* Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
* Support migration activities using tools like Application Designer and Change Assistant
* Provide technical support for People Soft modules
* Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
* Collaborate with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teams Qualifications Required
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3-7+ years of People Soft administration experience
* People Tools installation and configuration
* Web/application server administration
* Integration Broker and process scheduling
* Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Linux or Windows Server
* Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server)
* Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning
* Familiarity with shell scripting or automation
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Desired
* Experience with People Soft upgrades (People Tools and application upgrades)
* Knowledge of People Soft Cloud deployments or hosting models
* Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platforms
* Familiarity with Dev Ops tools and practices
* Experience supporting high-availability environments
* Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards
* Experience with Elastic Search in People Soft
* Knowledge of People Soft PUM (People Soft Update Manager)
* Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
