Field Service Technician

Fully cleared Field Service Technician to support an Intelligence Community program in Chantilly, Virginia.

Responsibilities
  • Provide incident response support for desktops, systems, Office, and client‑proprietary products.
  • Use ITIL-based processes to triage, categorize, act, and resolve incoming incidents, requests, and demands.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, design and implement fixes.
  • Provide basic user training for off‑the‑shelf applications and custom tools.
  • Perform remote desktop triage and system repair using remote tools. /li>
  • Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, system status, and downtime procedures.
  • Collaborate with network services, software systems engineering, and/or application development to restore service and identify problems.
  • Utilize specialized systems administrator experience (access management/file transfer).
  • Travel locally between customer buildings or to alternate locations for special projects.
  • Maintain and update records and tracking databases.
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone, in-person, or via self‑service involving computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
  • Availability to work client‑assigned 7 am–4 pm shift at the Chantilly, VA site.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to embrace diverse technical disciplines with excellent customer service skills.
Pay Information

Pay Range: $69,550.00 – $. The Leidos pay range is a general guideline only and does not guarantee compensation.
